When You're a Bride in June

Summer is a special time of year. June in particular brings with it a certain romance. In June it seems the very air is fragrant. Maybe that is why more weddings are performed in June than in any other month.

There is something about the word wedding that brings out the romantic in all of us, but it is more than that. Weddings bring out the best in us. They are a reminder that the love between a man and a woman is holy.

On their wedding day a Bride and Groom make a promise to honor, and cherish one another. Family and friends watch in reverence as they proclaim their solemn love for each other. Before God, and these witnesses they promise to be faithful to one another.

There is nothing more holy than this. There is no greater bond than the one that can be formed between husband and wife as they honor these sacred vows.

Who can resist such a scene? It can be appreciated by old and young alike. The experienced and the innocent.

Weddings are a fresh start and they come with bright hopes for the future. After all, there is really no telling what can happen....... when you're a bride in June.
